Marketing & Events Intern

Work closely with Creative Director & Head of Events & Partnerships to plan and execute marketing strategy to include events, workshops, product launches and trade shows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with planning marketing events and initiatives.
  • Assist as-needed on event days
  • Manage samples and press requests
  • Assist in the retail store, assisting customers & executing sales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong writing and communications skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve independently, think creatively and provide fresh ideas.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and bring positive energy to the team.
  • Currently a college student or recent graduate (marketing major or relevant)
  • Located in New York City.
  • Available to work at least 2 days/week for minimum of 3 months.
  • Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, proficiency in Excel and Photoshop a plus.
  • Graphic Design experience a plus.

 

Operations & Production Intern

Work closely with the production and logistics managers to produce seasonal collections. Assist in Inventory/Quality Control and Management. Will Gain insight with the entire production process, from design to production to fulfillment. Opportunity to visit production workshop in New Bedford, MA and see production first-hand.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and fulfilling customer orders.
  • Following up with production issues.
  • Managing shipping & logistics for all customer orders.
  • Assist in the retail store, assisting customers & executing sales.
