We went to see a factory to explore the idea of creating woven fabrics at CZH - it was such a treat! I am a very old fashioned kind of gal. I create all our spec sheets by hand before digitizing them. I cut out paper shapes and play around with the physicality of scale. I like putting a pencil to paper. I like painting directly on canvas. Jacquard looms are literally the opposite of this type of process - everything is digitized before a print can even begin. It is SO new for me! I am super excited to see CZH designs in a woven format!
