Our little factory in New Bedford is alive and kicking! We've scaled this very time consuming craft and its exciting to see it working. We are now showing all of our block-printed fabrics in Schumacher Showrooms and as the orders come in I realize how lucky we are to run our own production. We can sample very easily, our artisans can create a schedule that works for them and their children, and because we produce in America (just a 4 hour drive from New York) we can easily stay on top of quality control. Our artisans in New Bedford are the reason my business is unique, they are the heart of who we are, their love of the product and the craft shows in the work they do. We are so lucky to have them.
